VerifyShot Privacy Policy

Signed-photo privacy, explained clearly.

VerifyShot is an iOS app provided by Alita Software. It captures signed photos and verifies supported photos locally. VerifyShot has no account system, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, analytics SDK, or Alita Software photo-upload backend.

Information handled by the app

  • Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a photo.
  • Location access can record device-reported coordinates, altitude, accuracy, and location time in signed evidence.
  • Apple reverse geocoding may receive the current location to return a road, locality, postal code, and country label.
  • When enabled for a project, Apple Weather may receive the current location to return current conditions.
  • Photos access is used to save a signed photo or to let you select a photo for local verification.

Storage and sharing

Photos, project details, signing keys, and evidence are stored on your device. They remain there unless you choose to share or export them. A shared VerifyShot JPEG can intentionally reveal its visible watermark and signed fields, including configured names, project references, device-local time and timezone, address, coordinates, accuracy, altitude, and weather.

Gallery deletion removes selected local VerifyShot files and project records after a confirmation. Copies already saved to Apple Photos are not deleted by that action.

Subscriptions and payments

VerifyShot Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Alita Software does not receive or store payment-card details. Apple may provide transaction and entitlement status required to unlock subscribed features, including Family Sharing access.

Data collected by the developer

The current app does not transmit photos, precise location, project content, or identifiers to Alita Software, and Alita Software does not collect this data through VerifyShot.
