ColorBook Studio is provided by Alita Software. Your photos are converted on your device. We do not operate a photo upload service.

Photos and books

The app receives only images you explicitly choose using Apple’s photo picker or Files. It stores normalized original copies, converted coloring pages, book titles, page order, and preferences in its private local storage. It does not request access to your entire photo library. These files are not sent to Alita.

Monthly allowance

We record the number of successfully saved free conversions for each UTC calendar month on your device. This record is stored locally and in the device Keychain and may survive reinstall. It contains no photos and is not uploaded or used for tracking. Usage is per device, not per app account.

Purchases

Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions. The app uses StoreKit to check verified subscription entitlement on your device. We do not receive payment card details. Apple may collect purchase and diagnostic information under its own privacy policy. No app account is required.

Sharing, printing, and backups

Photos and PDFs leave the app only when you choose a sharing, saving, or printing destination. That destination handles the data according to its own policy. iOS backups may include your locally saved books if you enable backups. The app does not provide cloud synchronization.

Deleting data

Swipe a book in My Books and choose Delete to remove that book and its saved images. Copies previously exported to Files or shared elsewhere must be deleted in those destinations. Deleting a book does not restore used conversions. Deleting the app removes its local library; the device-only allowance record may remain in Keychain. An Apple subscription must be cancelled separately in your Apple Account settings.

Analytics and children

The app includes no ads, tracking SDKs, third-party analytics, or social features. The app is a creative tool for families and educators. An adult should manage purchases and sharing. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.

This website and support

This static website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process network and security data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. If you contact support, we receive the information you voluntarily send and use it to respond. Do not include private photos unless you intend to share them.
